In Stockholm, there is a parade going on later this afternoon! If you´re dressed - come join in the parade. If not - come and watch us!
All of us can have some candy (corn?), and i hope there´ll be some wierd looking drinks as well;)

World singing day!

World singing day - October 24, so yesterday from where I am!

It´s just as it sounds - sing sing sing! And make the world come together!

World Autism Awareness Day / Världsautismdagen

Hela dagen har det varit, och fortfarande är, Världsautismdagen!

Denna dag kan en visa sitt stöd genom att ha på sig något blått, bära det pusselbitsdekorerade bandet och berätta för den i sin närhet att det här är en viktig dag!

På autism och asperger föreningens hemsida går det att läsa om autism, där går det också att hitta länkar med inspiration om vad en kan göra mer för att visa sitt stöd!

Glöm inte alla alla är lika viktiga och lika vackra, oavsett diagnos eller inte.

De senaste dagarna har varit fullspäckade av manga saker, allt har inte varit tråkigt… men det har varit mycket!
Jag har däremot lyckats klämma in lite virkning (inte något jag lagt upp här än däremot) och jag har dessutom fått till Facebook sidan!

Nails nails nails

A cople of weekends ago, Mr Ms nephew and niece called, and we came! 

Mr M also wanted colorful nails

A visit to the playground, nap in the stroller and relax infront of a mive (and a lot of play with cars, blocks and so on) was on the menu!

Mid play, I heard Mr M say  “you want nails polish? You know what, J can help you”..
Said and done – nails were painted and after a shooort time to let it dry, the play continued:)

Later on that day I found the lovely child in the bathroom sink.. Well, only the hands and a whole bunch of foam.. The nail polish was to be washed away.

I don´t want to use acetone or another strong nail polish remover on those small hands, so I explained that it will come off by itself after a while (and will look like my nails did at the moment), and that it eventually will come of completely..

Maybe someone (you?) has tips on what to use or do instead? What is the most healthiest to use for the skin?

World Down Syndrome awareness day

Denna dag blev uppmärksammad två gånger i vårt avlånga land tack vare flickan och lillasystern Erica, som tröttnat på att hennes storasyster får negativ uppmärksamhet på grund av hennes sjukdom.
På gruppen hon gjort på Facebook läste jag en förklaring till varför det blev just fredagen: Hon ville att skolor och arbetsplatser skulle kunna delta eftersom att denna dagen infaller idag, på en lördag.

Som önskat uppmärksammades det i skolor & arbetsplatser, men också hemma:) 

Starkt av henne att sätta igång det här och ro det i land! Jag har sett nyhetsklipp där hon blir intervjuad och lyfter sin syster och vikten av förståelse till skyarna! <3 br="">Barn är underbara och helt fantastiska!

Different is good! Different is fun!

My name is Nathea and I want to challange all schools and all workplaces (and everyone who´s interested)! Help me prove that it is good to be different! On Friday, March 20, I want us to come together and pay tribute to our differences. I want everyone to understand that different is fun.

I am ten years old and my older sister Noelle has Down Syndrome. My sister is different. And she´s the world´s best big sister. I am proud of Noelle, she´s alot of fun. I get sad when I hear bad words about other people. 

Let´s make the school and the world more colorful and more loving!
Let´s make this day a fun day full of colors!
Let´s fill Facebook and Instagram with feet in rainbow colors!
Put on different socks you too and share this to everyone you know!
